A HEARTY HAPPY SUNDAY TO YOU!!
Sunday is also called Sabbath Day by Christians, who believe that God took rest on this day.at the end of the most intricate act of Creation!
REST? In anything connected with evolution and creation? No! No!
Personally I dispute this point (I suspect our 5th and 6th century Bible writers, who were actually monks in dingy monasteries and seminaries on the Continent) to have gone a bit overboard imagination-wise in this respect!) because as far as we know thanks to Charles Darwin, evolution has always been a subtle ongoing unceasingly continuous process ever since the Earth got cool enough in its lithosphere to sustain life!
SWEATING IS KEY TO EVOLUTION!
And EVERY creature –beginning with that adventurous protozoan that used its pseudopodia to emerge from the gooey, bubbling, lukewarm chemical broth-like pool of water to the shore, has strained the maximum to evolve! How impossibly difficult it must surely have been for that primal ancestor of all life on Earth to have effected its movement on an unfamiliar terrain!
The humble protozoan (an ameba perhaps?) dragged itself and perspired to do so. His kind evolved to become a small worm, and then went on to become an arthropod, a reptile, a small mammal, a mammal with brains, and then grew in size, acquired a specific shape and form, and lo, at last Early Man!
The Early Man-described with the —“pithecus” suffix and possessing many simian facial features and way too much hair on his body – improved his external appearance so as to be more in tune with this planet’s weather and challenges till he became your or my modern human representative–Homo sapiens!
(Or is he a “Homo stupidus” too at times?)
In other words if you wish to evolve to a superior being even intellectually, unceasing self enhancement and self-improvement is the prerequisite!
No Pains, No Gains!
Thanks to advances in science and technology, which overburdened us with many kitchen gadgets, we have today become too comfort loving and almost allergic to doing anything manually in our kitchens if we can avoid it!
You see, there is a gadget for it!
I confess I am also guilty in this respect, since I do things in the kitchen with many gadgets.
My thought igniter for YOU for today is just that we must learn to balance manual labor of some kind with what we do with gadgets so that the basic needs of our physiological systems to move about is also satisfied!
HAVE A GOOD DAY!
